| Dr. Jong K. Ha is a professor emeritus at Seoul National University, where he has been involved in teaching and research in ruminant nutrition for 30 years from 1984 to 2013. His main interest areas were ruminology, and molecular and enzymatic characterization of fiber digesting rumen microbes. Prof. Ha is well known for his dedicated contribution to local and international scientific societies in various capacities. Prof. Ha was instrumental for the successful holding of the 8th WCAP in 1998 as the chairman of organizing committee and then served the world organization as the vice-president. His long and dedicated service to AAAP as the secretary-general (2000-2010) and the editor-in-chief of the official journal, Animal Bioscience(formerly AJAS), of the association (2001-present) is well recognized. He also devoted to the enhancement of science journal quality through various activities in local and international science editors organizations. | |
